Who is this home blood test for
The Fertility blood test is for anyone curious about their fertility status. If you want to find out how many eggs you have left
You could have the test if you are thinking about having IVF, this test can give you an indication of how you are likely to respond to treatment.
Notes for this test
Take this test between days 2 and 5 of your period.
It can be taken at any time if you are not having periods.
HRT and the contraceptive pill can affect the results of this test, taking the test during a break from these will give more accurate results. Avoid taking a finger-prick sample from a finger used to handle hormone gels or hormone pessaries in the past 4 weeks.
Do not take biotin supplements for 2 days before this test.
If you are taking prescribed biotin you should discuss this with your doctor.
Please let us know if you have polycystic ovarian syndrome, as this can affect the results of this test
After your test
Once you have your results if needed we can direct you to someone who can explain them to you and offer a more detailed analysis

We will post out to you a finger prick sample pack; it will have all you need to take your sample including instructions of how to take the sample and an envelope to return it to the Lab.
